Heute Nacht spiel ich eine Stunde Musik für eher gut trainierte Ohren:
spiritual Jazz, überwiegend der 60er Jahre, des Afro-Jazzers Philip Cohran.
Nach seinem Engagement in Sun Ra`s Arkestra nahm er mit einer eigenen Band,
dem Artistic Heritage Ensemble,
sehr afrophile und percussive Platten auf, unter anderem dabei
der beste Congaspieler aller Zeiten, Master Henry Gibson,
der anschliessend Curtis Mayfield dazu verhalf seine Songs
unsterblich groovy zu machen
